TURBINE OIL FLUSHING
Gas Turbines - Steam Turbines - Compressors - Diesels
Oil Flushing is a process performed on a closed industrial turbine system that essentially cleans the system thereby leaving an ultra-pure operating oil as a byproduct. The flush and cleaning process utilizes an external pumping system to move the oil to a much higher than normal velocity through the piping system (HIGH VELOCITY FLUSH). Filtration systems are added to the system to capture and aid removal of the unwanted particulates.
Oil flushing also utilizes two additional techniques in the process to provide a pristine pipe condition.
THERMAL SHOCK raises oil temperatures to very high levels to assist with the scouring and washing of the internal lube system.
Additionally, VIGOROUS PIPE VIBRATION is utilized. This vibration allows rust, scale, and other contaminants adhering to internal pipe surfaces to become dislodged to be captured by the filtration process.
